Aura is a pet-care concierge that helps you manage your pet's profile and book services such as walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding with independent sitters. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Aura. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information in your account and your pet's profile, including health and behaviour details that sitters rely on.
Aura connects pet owners with pet care providers and facilitates bookings, scheduling, and communication through the platform. Pet care services available through Aura may be provided by independent sitters or other service providers engaged by Aura. Booking requests are subject to acceptance by the pet care provider, and times and pricing are shown before you confirm.
Prices for services are displayed at booking. Where fees apply, they are shown before you confirm. Payment terms for memberships, when offered, are presented at signup and can be cancelled anytime with effect at the end of the billing period.
You can cancel or reschedule a booking in the app. Cancellations close to the start time may be subject to the sitter's cancellation terms shown at booking.
Photos and updates shared during bookings are for your personal use. You retain rights to content you upload and grant Aura a licence to use it to operate the service (for example, showing your pet's photo to a confirmed sitter).
Aura provides the platform "as is". While we vet pet care providers on the platform, Aura does not guarantee any specific outcome of a care service and is not liable for the acts or omissions of pet care providers, except where required by law.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put pets, sitters, or other users at risk.
We may update these terms as Aura evolves. If changes are material, we'll notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Pet owners who opt in through the app may receive transactional SMS related to pet care services: booking confirmations, service updates, reminders, verification codes, and related account messages. Owner SMS consent is optional, unchecked by default, and is not implied by saving a phone number alone.
Approved pet sitters who complete onboarding and sign Aura's Sitter Service Agreement (including an explicit SMS consent checkbox) may receive job-related texts: booking offers, meet-and-greet coordination, rescheduling notices, and messages relayed from pet owners. Job-related sitter SMS is not sent at application time.
